Kent Brewer is a founder and co-owner of Front Gate Mortgages (2010) Ltd. Kent holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and is a life member of MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) and was awarded Court of the Table status pertaining to the 2020 year. He has been involved in the financial services industry since 2002. Kent graduated with a BA from St. Thomas University in 2004, earning First Class Honours in Economics, with Distinction. He has a vast array of experience in both commercial and residential lending, as well as the insurance/investment side of the business. Kent acts as the managing broker for Front Gate Mortgages (2010) Ltd and is responsible for the coordination of the broker team and administrative staff and is often called upon for his expertise in trouble-shooting the more challenging files.

More About Kent Brewer
Kent grew up on a family farm in rural New Brunswick and evidence of the principles that were instilled in him as a youngster can easily be observed in his approach to business. He demonstrates a strong work ethic, straight-forwardness, honesty, and an open mind to problem solving and this keeps he and the staff in high demand.

Kent possesses a genuine interest in helping business owners plan for the most important events in their business life, from tax efficient investment strategies, to succession planning, pensions, and covering the most significant business risks associated with the executives/ owners of companies, etc. Kent is passionate about helping his clients plot their road map for success and putting strategies in place to ensure accountability to their long-term plans.

When not at work, Kent loves spending time with his wife and 4 boys and the family’s two border collies. Kent has given back thousands of hours to his community through the several teams that his boys have played on over the years. On top of coaching this past hockey season, Kent also served on the board of the FYHA in the role of VP. He has been a registered Hockey Official with the NBHOA since 1994. Kent is a past President of Business Fredericton North. Kent has served on many industry panels and has been an invited speaker to several trade associations, businesses and community groups. Kent takes great pride in the good work that Front Gate has done for families since its inception in 2005 and a client-first approach will remain the focus of the organization so long as he has something to say about it!

I have been involved in the financial industry for over 37 years. My expertise includes numerous positions such as Manager Customer Service and Financial Advisor held with a major bank. During my tenure with the bank, I received several awards for excellence in customer service. During her time there, she managed a large team of financial sales and service providers. Christa Reynolds is on one of the more recent additions to the Front Gate Financial team and brings to the team a desire to work with people for their benefit in setting up investment plans and finding the best insurance policies to suit their situations. Being a parent herself, Christa is keenly in tune with the importance of financial planning and looking ahead to the future for both her clients and their families. Christa graduated from UNB with a degree in Kinesiology, but quickly discerned her true interests were in other areas. While still having a competitive spirit, she turned her efforts to the finance sector and was employed as a personal banking representative for a major banking institution for the next 10 years. After having taken a few years off to have children, Christa decided it was time to focus on other ventures and tried her hand at sales. This lacked the true feeling of helping others and Christa jumped at the opportunity to join the Front Gate Team. Outside her work, Christa loves working with the teams that the children play on – primarily hockey – having served as team manager a number of times. She displays the same passion and drive for her own family’s endeavors that her clients will enjoy from her.
